Frequently Asked QuestionsMy computer has something wrong but I am not sure what to do or how much it will cost?At Hinterland IT we will generally can assess your PC within a short time. We do not charge you for diagnosis and will only spend up to an approved amount by you if repairs are needed. We work on multiple jobs at one time so we are not standing in front of your PC all the time so our hourly charges are kept to a minimum. We will always consult with you regarding the required repair if needed before we do any work. I haven't backed up my data and my PC has stopped working, HELP!Hinterland IT realises the importance of your files and that these are often more valuable than the PC itself. If you computer fails most of the time your data is still retrievable, so don't panic, we have dedicated hardware and software specifically for recovering and storing your data. Even data that has been deleted can often be recovered. Before we undertake any major work on your PC we will ensure that all your documents, emails, favourites, address book etc. are all backed up safely. What are your trading terms?We operate on a 7 day payment schedule. That is, payment for all work invoiced is required within 7 days unless prior arrangement is made. Late payments may incur a processing charge of $22.00 or 2% whichever is greater for every month payment is outstanding with a one month minimum. The charging of any late processing fees is at the discretion of Hinterland IT.
